The Weekly Three: October 2nd, 2023
No light without dark, no balance without instability, no growth without change.
Welcome to The Weekly Three! Each Monday, I share a three-card Tarot spread to help you focus your intuitive energy in real life, and take action with intention inside your business.
I pull these cards with the collective energy of my community in mind, but if you want a custom spread of your very own, you can get it right here.

The Big Idea: There’s no finding balance without first being off-kilter.
With all the messages in the past few weeks of clearing way for something new, seeking the truth and finding what balance means for you, this week’s spread doesn’t feel surprising.
That doesn’t make it sting any less, though. If last week’s Tower-sized change has thrown you for a bit of a loop, don’t beat yourself up. Needing a reset period after a big change or realization is only natural, and you can take that time this week.🩵
The II of Pentacles reversed reads to me like the “whoopsie-daisy” of Tarot. The ball gets dropped, you’re out of whack and you can’t seem to find your footing. There could be an opportunity you thought would help you get back on top, but instead it threw you further out of orbit.
This card can also be a moment where a decision gets made for you—you’re not in control here.
The X of Wands reversed is like a pressure valve being released. Whether it’s released because the situation has been resolved or because you needed to give up on something depends entirely on the context. But don’t forget: both of those things can also exist at the same time.
The VIII of Swords is a little bit of a lonely card. It’s a card that says you might feel stuck, isolated or like you have to make all the decisions without anyone to consult for help. But even though it doesn’t feel the best, it’s not always a bad thing—sometimes relying on self-trust is what helps you make the next right move.
In Your Business: A week of accepting “both/and” helps you start clearing out the cobwebs.
This might feel like a week of picking up the pieces. After last week’s Tower-surprise, was there something that changed for you in a big way? Does it feel like all of a sudden there’s an empty spot in the pie-chart of your life that’s throwing the whole damn thing off?
If you’ve just let go of a perceived opportunity, if you’ve had to make a change that you didn’t choose yourself, you might simultaneously feel relieved about the shift and still be grieving what you feel you lost. You can feel like a weight has been lifted and still feel disappointment that the thing didn’t work out.
We don’t make decisions because we think they’ll be the wrong thing for us to do. Sometimes we don’t even make the decisions. That’s the reality of life: we don’t get to choose and curate every situation we’re in.
Sometimes, no matter how much due-diligence and research and preparation you’ve done, things turn out sideways and lumpy. It absolutely sucks when that happens, there’s no question about it.
And-but-also: those moments have the power to point you in the right direction.
Remember that lately we’ve been urged to clear the way in order for what’s next to arrive.
Maybe you’re on your own, and you might feel isolated and stuck, but is it because you really don’t have anyone to turn to?
Or is it because you need to listen to your own wisdom without any other noise in the way right now?
The only person with the answer to how balance is regained here is you. Look within to find your way out.
Until next week,
Zoha
