Now, let’s get into these cards!
Welcome to The Weekly Three! Each Monday, I share a three-card Tarot spread to help you focus your intuitive energy in real life, and take action with intention inside your business.
I pull these cards with the collective energy of my community in mind, but if you want a custom spread of your very own, you can get it right here.
The Big Idea: You may feel disconnected and disappointed now, but good news is on the way.
Our emotions and the physical resources we tie to them seem to be taking kind of a hit right now.
The III of Cups comes to us reversed. When this card is upright, it can represent that squad of friends-turned-chosen-family that always has your back. They fill your cup and you fill theirs and you know you can all depend on one another for support.
Reversed, it says you may be feeling disconnected and isolated. Maybe you feel like you’re alone on this journey and you have to do everything yourself without a trusted network to help and support you. You might even feel like you’ve been betrayed in some way by someone you thought would show up for you, but instead just threw you under the bus.
OR, you might just be doing your own thing right now, away from team dynamics or group endeavors. Either way, your solitude is making itself felt at this moment.
The Knight of Pentacles reversed hits us with another pang of disappointment. Something isn’t growing the way you think it should or showing anticipated results. And it sucks balls.
There could also be an aspect of someone sabotaging your plan or letting you down at the last minute. Is it an outside party? Or is it you giving up on yourself before you’ve really given something a fair shot?
The Page of Pentacles is the perfect student. Not only do they really have a knack for what they’re doing, they also really enjoy sharpening their skills and soaking up new information. Their future is sunshiny bright.
This card can also represent good news about finances or other physical resources like bodily vitality. Something great is on the way and you’re already planting the seeds for it to sprout into a gorgeous, lush garden.
In Your Business: Use what you’ve learned from past disappointments to better equip yourself for the future.
This is a good moment to ask yourself some (maybe difficult) questions and take stock of where you’re at.
Are you really alone? Or just lonely?
Is it time to try something else? Or are you giving up before this even has a chance to start?
Does your crew—friends, business partners, collaborators, confidantes—have your back, or do you need to reassess some relationships?
What’s the landscape you’ve cultivated so far, and what’s just beginning to sprout through the soil?
One thing I know to be true about entrepreneurship: this is a living experiment. We are learning and applying new skills and knowledge in real time.
Sometimes we try something and it works so spectacularly that we know for a fact we’ve found some magic.
Other times, we’re let down. We stumble. We realize we don’t have all the skills we need. We sabotage ourselves. We make mistakes.
And that’s ok.
Every time something goes sideways, yeah, it absolutely sucks. It’s the fucking worst. I hate it. I get tired of it. It wears me right the fuck out.
And also? I learn something. Maybe it’s a lesson I should’ve learned earlier, maybe it’s a new one, maybe it’s costing me an arm and a leg to learn it. But, there’s still something I’m walking away with, even when it feels like I’m walking away with nothing.
What has getting knocked down taught you? And what have you learned that will help you better equip yourself for your future and the future of your business?
Until next week,
Zoha
