Welcome to The Weekly Three! Each Monday, I share a three-card Tarot spread to help you focus your intuitive energy in real life, and take action with intention inside your business.
I pull these cards with the collective energy of my community in mind, but if you want a custom spread of your very own, you can get it right here.
The Big Idea: The natural turn of a cycle and creative fire are on your side, just get your head on straight before you go!
Two cards from the Major Arcana come through to let us know we better fucking pay attention to what’s going on. And, the increasing numerical order in which they show up means you could be making some progress through whatever you’re working through right now.
First up, The Wheel of Fortune is upright—luck could be on your side, or you’re being helped along by the natural updraft created by a cycle changing direction for the better.
This card makes me think of all kinds of change. I always feel this card asks for adaptability and for us to make the first push that gets the ball rolling.
If you know anything about the advertising industry, (where I spent a decade before going full time in my coaching practice,) you know all about the creative directors that can make your life a living hell.
They take credit for the team’s ideas, fail to lead, mismanage their teams and the work, and are on shaky ground with the other department leads…
The King of Wands, instead, is the shining example of the creative director you wish you had for every single project (If you’ve had an amazing leader like this in your career, I know you’ll remember them fondly always and forever🤓💛)
This is the leader who is ready to lend you their expertise and guide your own creativity forward. They can see the bigger vision, where the pieces of your plan fit in and how to make it all happen. They encourage their teams to lean into their boldness, enthusiasm and passion to give a project life.
Seeing The Hanged Man at the end of this spread might feel like momentary whiplash after all the movement and fire of the last two cards. This card is asking us to take a pause and consider what we’re doing before we rush right in.
Hang in there, take a look from a different angle or even—jiving really well with the adaptability being asked of you from The Wheel of Fortune—let go of trying to control all the outcomes and let this unfold as it needs to.
In Your Business: Change is inevitable, so how can you use your creativity and passion to work with the change before you now?
If I knew your specific situation, I could tell you more about how and why, but I can at least tell you this much:
This is a spread with a lot of strength, willpower and capability behind it. There might be new opportunities in front of you right now that you can absolutely make the most of by approaching them from the right angle.
Take a look at your overall vision and see what you need in this moment to put another piece in place.
Does it require you to act in a different way than before? Does it require you to surrender to the faith that everything will work out if you just let it? Do you need to put in some muscle to start and then let it coast to success?
The route you take is up to you, and it doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s path to success. Figure out where you’re going, assess your route options, choose a path and off you go.
Until next week,
Zoha
