Now, let’s get into these cards!
Welcome to The Weekly Three! Each Monday, I share a three-card Tarot spread to help you focus your intuitive energy in real life, and take action with intention inside your business.
I pull these cards with the collective energy of my community in mind, but if you want a custom spread of your very own, you can get it right here.
The Big Idea: Discontentment has you looking backward, but a rational approach will help you move on.
There’s an ending in these cards, but you may not feel like accepting it. What do you get when you mix Air and Water, the elements represented here? Rain. And instead of the kind that feels cozy or nourishing, it just feels like bad weather.
The potentially operative word here: feels.
We’re also being asked to be rational about what’s in front of us right now without being cold or cruel.
The X of Swords reversed that feels like it can go two ways. Or maybe it’s that it goes just one way with two different sentiments attached to it: One, that your worries are over and you’ve got some relief. And two, that you still just can’t fucking let it go and move on (whatever the “it” is that’s been plaguing you.)
The X of Cups reversed reads as discontent to me. Not only are you dissatisfied with your current lot, your blocking people out and creating an environment that’s disconnected and cold.
The Queen of Swords is the voice of reason in all of this. She’s asking you to approach the situation with rationality and logic. You’re able to get right to the heart of the matter and understand what’s at play here—so, how can you proceed with cool, collected, compassionate reason?
In Your Business: What do you need to accept right now so you can move forward?
This doesn’t always go the way we want it to. We get disappointed. We get hung up on ideas that we think are the absolute end-all-be-all of amazing ideas, even though they turn out to be flops.
Just a reminder: just because the idea was a flop doesn’t mean that you are a flop. We put so much of ourselves into our businesses that sometimes we forget that we are also separate entities outside and above our businesses.
If you were advising another business owner, what would you say to them if they were in your place? How would you direct them? How might you coach them through this?
This week looks like taking a step back in order to take a step forward. You’re empowered to take a look at the whole picture in a level-headed way. You can trust that what you’re seeing from that vantage point is the truth and you can use that truth to inform your next step.
Take the time you need to shake off the lingering discontentment, let go of what’s over, and follow the truth forward.
Until next week,
Zoha
