The Weekly Three 3/18/24: Spring is sproinging
File this week’s energy under: striving sprout.
Some part of you is looking to see what sticks this week, but it might not feel like you’re doing it on purpose (so far…) You might feel like the equivalent of a bee in a jar, buzzing against the glass, just trying your damnedest to get out.
But keep your cool, keep a journal, and keep on keepin’ on. We’ll get there.
Welcome to The Weekly Three! Each Monday, I share a three-card Tarot spread to help you focus your intuitive energy in real life, and take action with intention inside your business.
I pull these cards with the collective energy of my community in mind, but if you want a custom spread of your very own, you can get it right here.

In The Cards: Restless energy is in trial-and-error mode
The IX of Swords reversed is a welcome relief in some mental worry. Whether the thing’s been figured out, let go of or simply accepted, it’s not the nightmare of anxiety it was before.
There’s also some closure here. The number 9 is associated with cycles coming to an end and a feeling of maturity that comes with lessons that have not only been learned, but understood and integrated with the foundation. The suit of Swords is associated with our thoughts and communication—a place where worry can sow thriving, overgrown seeds of doubt, worry, foggy thinking and cutting remarks.
But this suit also allows for sharp wit and clarity, a means for defense and a logical path forward. When the IX of Swords appears reversed as it does here, we can take some comfort in the potential lifting of mental fog and lessening of anxious thoughts.
The Page of Pentacles provides another kind of seed: the kind that has the potential to sprout into a luscious, healthy, deep-rooted jungle. But instead of there being a perfectly straight line to that kind of success, there’s the open curiosity that all Pages of Tarot carry with them. There’s still a delicate newness to everything that means things look good, but we’re still getting the hang of this.
The suit of Pentacles is all about tangible resources like our physical bodies, our cash, our connection to nature, our homes and physical surroundings, etc. This Page brings news of some kind of positive change here - a little boost that sets us up to keep growing.
The VI of Wands reversed is a little bit of a wet blanket. It’s like the thing didn’t pan out, or you got what you wanted but instead of looking at it and going “YEAH,” you’re looking at it and going “what the fuck is this ugly thing…” You may also be feeling a lack of support or a kind of solitary blah.
With the creative, gut-driven energy of the suit of Wands at play here, it may also be an indicator that there’s more work to be done that you thought there would be.
In Between: The squiggly line to success
Have you ever watched a time-lapse video of a seed sprouting out of the ground? The main thing that strikes me about watching this little shoot’s progress is how fucking squiggly and wobbly it is.
It had to do so much work just to make its way through the soil to the surface, and the second it achieves its goal, BLAM! It has to immediately figure out how not to die up here—which, to me, seems like a VERY “Woohoo! I made i—what the fuck is this shit??” scenario.
It’s a new paradigm and requires a different set of protocols for survival.
And sometimes our long-game, vision-building goals are like that too. We make it through a bunch of hard shit to an amazing point of achievement, and then we realize there’s more to do. Not only more, but likely different and more challenging.
But like that little sprout, you can get through it to become the beautiful, multi-blossomed, deeply-leafed, paradise-level topiary you want to become.
In Your Business: Gather your thoughts (and your data.)
Why the fuck are we talking so much about seeds all of a sudden, you may ask?
For one, our goals, being things created by creatures of Earth (aka humans aka us,) seem to mimic the patterns we see in other Earth-things, namely nature.
We talk about roots, growth, metamorphosis, watering seeds, blooming, etc. And it’s all 100% applicable.
The other reason is maybe because tomorrow, March 19th, is the Spring Equinox and the day that the sun enters the cardinal (not just of its element, but the whole effing Zodiac) sign of Aries. It’s Astrological New Year’s Day, and new energy is seeking out its vessel for realization.
This is a great week to orient yourself to the shift and look at where that energy is trying to go, and then use that as data to help you move forward. Honestly, maybe take notes if that’s your jam.
What are you noticing this week about what’s exciting, what’s easeful, what’s challenging-in-a-good-way, and what’s not any of that?
Try approaching it with some of the Page’s curiosity and need to learn—see what kind of path that opens for your li’l sprout to grow.🌱
Until next week,
Zoha
