The Weekly Three 1/15/24: Getting physical with realizing your goals.
Our ideas and physical bodies are connected no matter how much we try to separate them.
Last week I asked you about the missing piece that would allow you to turn the wheel and transform your potential energy into kinetic energy. This week, that wheel starts turning, and I mean fast.
The key to using this available burst of movement and motivation is knowing how and where to direct it. And that knowing is super physical, gut-based, feel-it-in-your-fingers-and-toes type stuff.
Welcome to The Weekly Three! Each Monday, I share a three-card Tarot spread to help you focus your intuitive energy in real life, and take action with intention inside your business.
I pull these cards with the collective energy of my community in mind, but if you want a custom spread of your very own, you can get it right here.

In The Cards: Big things are unfolding fast.
Woah. Woah. Holy wow. Woah.
Imagine a roomful of cats with the zoomies running all crazy-wazy in every direction. Now imagine that, all of a sudden, they all line up and decide to run in the same direction. What happens?
The rug is destroyed in only one, very symmetrical section? You are run over by a million soft toe beans? A secret portal to another dimension is opened in the middle of the living room during an unexpectedly memorable rewatch of While You Were Sleeping?
Whatever actually happens, it happens fast and it happens big.
That’s kind of the vibe of this week’s cards.
The VIII of Wands is a card of fiery movement. This is a burst of energy and inspiration. An idea that unfolds crazy fast. It’s a definite boost, but this isn’t a pace that can be held long term. Think of it like an arrow in flight: there’s fast motion, but it’s got to land somewhere.
Steadfast action and commitment to a goal come up with the Knight of Pentacles. Being that they are so rooted in the element of Earth, this is one of the slowest moving knights of all the suits in the deck. Visually, this is the only knight in the traditional Rider-Waite-Smith deck that is shown to be standing still.
But just because they’re physically standing still doesn’t mean that they aren’t doing something. This is action that is anchored.
The King of Pentacles denotes a person who is in complete harmony with their physical resources. They know how to cultivate those resources, nurture them and steward them. This is the real-life realization of a legacy and the adaptation of that legacy to current surroundings.
I think it’s important to remember here that “physical resources” don’t always refer to money and that “legacy” can exist far beyond the financial.
What does that word mean to you? What are you working on right now that contributes to your idea of legacy? How are you working in a way that contributes to your legacy?
In Between: The creative, the financial, the physical.
We often think of creativity as the sudden blossoming of ideas, but I’d argue that those ideas start as physical sensations before they ever get to your head. I can feel it in my gut when there’s a new idea brewing for me.
The concept of “making money” is another thing that can be treated as solely cerebral. But there’s a feeling I get in my throat when my bank account is low. There’s a different physical sensation I feel when I check in on my investments and they’ve grown.
We try so hard to exist as if we’re separate from our bodies. We try to work like we’re machines, to create output like we’re computers. The reality is that we only exist on this planet because our physical bodies exist on this planet. We’re here and conscious because of our necessary physical connection to the earth and the flesh and blood that houses us.
And yet, we’re so quick to shit on our physical forms because somewhere in the timeline someone sold us the lie that WE are separate from our physicality. And we bought it.
I think it’s supremely fucked up.
I also think it makes it incredibly difficult for us to know whether we’re moving in the direction we actually need to go.
There are no Swords and no Cups in this week’s spread, which means you’re being asked: how can you be fully present and in your body? There’s important information there for you to use in directing your energy.
Dance, sway, wiggle, expand, contract and then, listen. What’s your body telling you?
There is a physical place in your body where these legacy-building things live. Dive in and access them if you can, and use that to guide and direct your energy.
Get the fuck out of your head and put your emotions in the backseat for a sec. This is a moment for physical inspiration to carry us to a substantive beyond.
And if you struggle with listening to your body or being in tune with it, I encourage you even more to find physical ways of getting out of your head.
I went to an arcade recently with some friends. It was an absolute blast. And also: in the midst of a shoot-em-up style Transformers game, as I sang along to ABBA’s Gimme, Gimme, Gimme (A Man After Midnight) blasting through the arcade speakers, there was nothing else for me to do except physically respond and move with what was in front of me.
There was no room to think, there was no time to process my surprise at the virtual obstacles being thrown at me, I just had to be in my body, reacting and responding.
There was also not a lot for me to lose. The stakes for winning (or losing) this arcade game were phenomenally low. There was nothing being asked of me. I just got to BE in my body, and that was awesome.
What can you do for yourself that’s so immediately physical, yet so completely unserious, that you can get back into your physical self without having to worry what’s going to happen or what you look like? Use that to reconnect with your wholly integrated self as best you can.
In Your Business: Where is your arrow pointing?
There’s an ask in this spread for you to hone in on your target, direct your focus and let the arrow fly. But, the energy of this spread will make itself available whether you know where you’re going or not.
Don’t forget that finding a direction to let your arrow fly is also a valid goal. It’s a process we forget about, often spinning out in industry-echoed thought of “I need clarity! I need clarity!”
But how does that clarity arrive in the first place?
Maybe you’ve been paying attention to your physical responses to things, or maybe you’ve been completely ignoring your internal compass. Start small if you’re unsure. Take a tiny step in a direction you think might be the way—what do you feel? What does that feeling tell you? And what can you do next based on that information? Tiny adjustments and data collection can help lead you to a tangible point on the map with more info than you started with (or even realized you needed.)
If you already know where to focus, then expect a huge burst of energy to become available to you. Please remember that “a burst of energy” looks very different for different people. For some it might mean having the physical resources to go run a marathon or pull an all-nighter to finish building a brand new website. For someone else it might mean you were able to get up, shower, dress and feed yourself today without feeling drained as shit by the end of the day. This is all relative and it all counts.
If you don’t know where to focus, expect some inspiration or clear indications of what needs to change in order for you to direct your energy and commit to the path that leads to your ultimate growth.
But expect it to come from inside you instead of from an outside source. Connect. Pay attention. You can do this.💖
Until next week,
Zoha
