The Weekly One, 6/5/24: The case against innovating.
Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.
Why does it have to be new? Your answer may not justify the real work it takes to rework. This week’s energy is asking you to think twice before you break it just because you can.
Welcome to The Weekly Three! Each week, I share a three-card Tarot spread to help you focus your intuitive energy in real life, and take action with intention inside your business.
I pull these cards with the collective energy of my community in mind, but if you want a custom spread of your very own, you can get it right here.

In The Card: In with the old, out with the new.
This week, the Ace of Wands comes to us reversed. A new flame fizzles, a fresh idea falls flat and your motivation goes kaput.
When I see an Ace in a reversed position, sometimes I read it as “do not pass GO.” Other times I can see it as “not this” or “go back.” Today, it feels like “what was so wrong with the thing from before?”
Especially because the suit of Wands is so entrepreneurial, this reads especially like a request to reconsider the revisions. Might this process, this sales page, this offer, this post already be good enough as it is?
In Between: Fixing what isn’t broken.
In small business, and especially in a micro- or solo-business, there’s so much we do because we can. There’s freedom and agility in being a “small” operation (in quotes because “small” business doesn’t mean you’re not doing BIG things.)
We can redo, tweak, revise, change, shift until the cows come home and still keep moving forward. The only problem here is that the cows never actually do come home, do they? They’re forever out on that pasture, grazing away, while we’re back on the farm fixing and changing and do-overing.
But how much of that is actually helping us? And how much of it is just keeping us busy while we wait for cows that have long since moved on to greener pastures?
In Your Business: Where DON’T you need to “innovate”?
This week, take a look at where you might be trying to break something simply to have something to fix.
What’s already working in your business? (And why does that freak you out enough to want to change into something else?)
There’s a New Moon tomorrow morning at 5:38am PT in Gemini. This is a great time to set intentions around overthinking, approaching things with logic and bringing extremes to the middle through balance.
Until next week,
Zoha
